want to take this opportunity to welcome you to Ocala
Neurosurgical Center. Please
take a moment to review some general information about our office. Location Our Ocala location is located in the Windsor Oaks Medical Park at 1901 S.E. 18th Avenue, Suite 101, Ocala, FL 34471. Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Each of the physicians have office time for appointments several times a week. To schedule an appointment, contact our office and one of the receptionists will take down some information and schedule you an appointment. If you are a new patient, please have your insurance information available. Our physicians will want to review the most recent
MRI done related to the reason for your visit.
In order to provide you with the most up to date treatment,
a new MRI will be ordered for you if your most recent MRI was done
over six months ago. For new patients, you will be asked to bring any
previous films or studies relating to your visit with you. Other
items you will need with you for your initial appointment are:
Prescriptions In order to more efficiently assist you in obtaining
your medication refills, we have set aside specific time periods
in which to receive requests and dispense prescriptions. These
times are: Monday
through Thursday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Any
prescription requested after 3:00 p.m. Thursday will not be
addressed until the following Monday. All prescriptions must be
approved by the physician before the nurse can call it in,
therefore, refills may take, up to 24 ‑ 48 hours to
complete. Every attempt will be made to complete the process as
quickly as, possible, however, it is suggested that any refill requests be made at
least 24 hours prior to taking your last pill.
