BARRY
J. KAPLAN, M.D.
Dr.
Kaplan is Board Certified in Neurological Surgery by the American
Board of Neurological Surgery and has been active in the practice
of Neurosurgery in Ocala since 1988.
Dr.
Kaplan received his Medical Degree from the University of Florida
and completed his residency through the University of Florida at
Shands Hospital in Gainesville. He is a member of the Alpha Omega
Alpha Honor Medical Society and is a Fellow in the American
College Of Surgeons. At the conclusion of his residency, he was
Assistant Professor, Division of Neurosurgery at the University of
Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas before starting Ocala
Neurosurgical Center in 1988.
Dr.
Kaplan is a member of the American Association of Neurological
Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Southern
Neurosurgical Society, Florida Neurosurgical Society, and the
Marion County Medical Society. Dr. Kaplan is on staff at Munroe
Regional Medical Center and Ocala Regional Medical Center.
ANTONIO
DiSCLAFANI, M.D.
Dr.
DiSclafani is Board Certified in Neurological Surgery by the
American Board of Neurological Surgery and has been in the
practice of Neurosurgery since 1988. He joined Ocala Neurosurgery
Center in 1993.
Dr.
DiSclafani received his Medical Degree from the University of
Texas Health Science Center in Houston and completed his residency
at the University of Tennessee ‑ St. Judes Hospital in
Memphis. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical
Society and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He
also did Fellowships in Neuro‑Oncology at the University of
California in San Francisco and St. Judes Hospital in Memphis.
Dr.
DiSclafani is a member of the American Association of Neurological
Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Florida Neurological
Society, and the Marion County Medical Society. He is on staff at
Munroe Regional Medical Center and Ocala Regional Medical Center.
MARK
D. OLIVER, M.D.
Dr.
Oliver
is Board
Board Certified in Neurological Surgery by the American Board of
Neurological Surgery
and has been active in the practice of Neurosurgery since joining
Ocala Neurosurgery in 1998.
Dr.
Oliver received his Medical Degree from the University of Alabama
School of Medicine in Birmingham. He completed his residency in
neurosurgery at the University of South Florida College of
Medicine in Tampa where he was Chief Resident and received
specialized training in complex spinal disorders. He also did a
Fellowship in Neuroscience at Eastern Virginia School of Medicine
in Norfolk, Virginia.
Dr.
Oliver is a member of the American Association of Neurological
Surgeons, Florida Neurological Society, Florida Medical
Association, and the Marion County Medical Society.
DANIEL
P. ROBERTSON, M.D.
Dr. Robertson is Board Certified in
Neurological surgery by the American Board of Neurological
surgeons and has been active in the practice of Neurosurgery since
1994. He moved to Ocala with his wife and three daughters in
January 2004.
Dr. Robertson received his Bachelor of
Engineering degree from Duke University, his medical degree from
the University of Tennessee and completed his residency in
neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Robertson is a member of the American
Association of Neurological surgeons, Congress of Neurological
Surgeons, Marion County Medical Society, a Fellow of the American
College of Surgeons, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and
certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners.
He has a special interest in the surgical
treatment of Parkinsons Disease and Essential tremor and is on
staff at Munroe Regional Medical Center and Ocala Regional Medical
